This December the World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony took place in Lisbon, Portugal, to crown the finest tourist brands and places.
Saint-Petersburg (Russia), received World Travel Award under three nominations: “World’s Cultural City Destination”, “Europe’s Leading Heritage Destination” and “Europe’s Leading Cruise Destination”. The important thing is that St. Petersburg’s rivals for “World’s Cultural City Destination” were such popular cities as Beijing, London, NY, Paris, Quito, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Sydney and Venice! Also, the Russia’s Cultural Capital gets this prize for the third time in a row (since 2016).
So now, if you’re eager for culture or European Heritage, you definitely know where to go to. And we can offer you to see the Hermitage Museum, together with or on the next day after the must see’s tour in the historic city center (which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Probably the reason for getting and “Europe’s Leading Cruise Destination” prize is that when a person’s going on a cruise ship, doesn’t need a Russian visa to see around the city, only a tour ticket! Don’t hesitate to ask us for one, if you need it!
