Meet our guide Tanya!
Hey hey hey! Meet our English speaking guide Tanya! Tanya might seem rather serious at first sight but she is absolutely charming: courteous, very knowledgable, energetic, has a great sense of humor and is adventurous! ✅ Tanya loves traveling 🗺: she has travelled all around Europe and North America. Her dream destination is Amazonia🌎. ✅ Upon retirement 👵🏻 she wants to move to Cuba to enjoy the dawns and sunsets 🌅 at the seaside while singing to a local guitar. ✅ Traveling is not just sightseeing for Tanya - it is a cumulative experience of history, local culture, traditions, mindset and people for her 🎏🎎. That is why on her tours Tanya likes to tell you not only about the facades but also about what they hide. ✅ Tanya loves literature📚: from classics like Tolstoy to jazz romantics like Fitzgerald. ✅ She is a big art-fancier 🖼 and is especially fond of Impressionists: her favourite painter is Renoir. ✅ Tanya calls herself an “eternal student”. She loves studying: she has recently mastered German 🇩🇪 and is currently working on becoming a licensed guide in St.Petersburg not only in English but also in German. ✅ As much as she likes studying she likes teaching. Most of her life she has been teaching students in a university 👩‍🎓; she wrote several research papers and methodology booklets 📕📗📘. ✅ Tanya is a football fan! ⚽ Together with her dad she cheers for England 🇬🇧 at Euro and World Cups. She knows lyrics of Liverpool FC anthem ‘You’ll never walk alone’ by heart! ✅ She loves tasting different cuisines 🌮🍢🍜, listening to music 🎧, drinking coffee at Starbucks ☕, exploring museums 🏺, art galleries 🖼 and parks 🌳 and trampoline jumping ✅ The next point on her bucket list is flying on hot-air balloon! #saintpetersburg #petersburg #spb #Saintp #Russia #visitpetersburg #explorerussia #tourism #tour #travel #instatravel #natgeorussia #Europe #guide
